The act of paying for that solution to your life’s problems (drudgery, boredom, the daily grind) is the same ‘hit’ as the junkie gets when they indulge.
It doesn’t do them any good and it doesn’t solve any of their problems, it just takes the problems from the FRONT of their mind for a little while. It’s just a delaying tactic.
Actually buying the product is what makes repetitive buyers feel better. But it’s the things you do afterwards that decide whether the purchase makes ANY difference at all.
Here’s what the books don’t tell you. For 99% of us, there will be no beach, no margaritas and no push-button profit. For some there will never be, for others they might come later.
And the work that has to be done can be boring, tedious, stressful and difficult. There may be no guarantees. You may have to live on blind faith for six months while you implement a plan and test to see if it can work. You may have to work alone. You may have to solve all problems yourself. You may have to take MASSIVE risks.
You may have to overcome massive personal barriers like fear, distraction, procrastination, doubt, confusion, overload….
